As our Medical Director, and one of the first physicians to join the Nava Health & Vitality Center, Dr. Douglas Lord has made significant contributions to our Center and its founding principles. Dr. Lord has helped develop and implement the Nava Method™—Nava’s proprietary approach to total body wellness. He has also been instrumental in liaising with other expert practitioners to successfully implement Nava’s range of therapies, treatments, and products.
In his role at Nava, Dr. Lord is responsible for maintaining Nava’s innovation and for creating the best experience for clients by ensuring they have access to the newest and best advances in integrative wellness. He achieves this by identifying and developing strategic partnerships in the field, and acting as a facilitator between Nava and various providers.
Dr. Lord's passion for health and wellness is evident in both the way he lives his life and in the way he practices medicine. He is eager to share his extensive medical knowledge and experience with other Nava Directors. Read more about Dr. Lord.
Dr. Kim Dulai has been practicing medicine for close to a decade as a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Dulai received her M.D. from Spartan Health Sciences University and finished her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She also holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. For the past ten years, Dr. Dulai has been focused on integrative medicine, specifically related to women’s health and obesity medicine. Part of her medical philosophy is to form a trusting relationship with patients, tailoring each treatment plan accordingly to fit their needs. A member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Dulai is an active volunteer, focusing on causes from adult hypertension and diabetes prevention to family fitness and children’s nutrition. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, spending time traveling and leading an active lifestyle.
Dr. Kerri Nardone has been practicing medicine for close to a decade as an OB-GYN. She brings in-depth experience to Nava with extensive training in a whole-body approach to medicine, and is an active fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Nardone received her D.O. from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and finished her residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, where she served as Chief Resident. She also holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Dr. Nardone practiced integrative medicine for several years at Women First OB-GYN Associates and Medstar Georgetown University, both in Silver Spring. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time at the beach with her husband and their three daughters.
Dr. Lisa Nguyen has been practicing medicine for twenty years. She focused on general obstetrics as an OBGYN and previously worked with Nava Medical Director, Dr. Douglas Lord. It is through Dr. Lord that she has expanded her protocol to include a passion for integrative wellness. A Maryland native, Lisa stayed true to her roots, securing her undergraduate and medical degree through the University of Maryland. Dr. Nguyen has three children and as a busy working mom, still makes time to support her local Vietnamese community and enjoys spending time with her family following the Maryland Terps.
LaKeischa Webb McMillan earned her undergraduate degree in Biology (cum laude) from Oakwood College, now Oakwood University, and continued on to Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where she graduated in 2001. LaKeischa completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and entered group practice in 2006. LaKeischa’s philosophy is aligned with Nava’s mission of empowering clients to aim for life at a 100%, never settling for less. Her emphasis is on preventing chronic diseases through integration, education and lifestyle changes. She is the host of the show HouseCall with Dr. Mac. LaKeischa lives in Maryland with her husband Wendell II and their two children, Wendell III and Skylar Nicole. She enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
Chevy Chase Center
Dr. Nayo Wills has been sharing her passion for health, wellness and alternative therapies through the practice of medicine for over ten years. Dr. Wills received her M.D. at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She also holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia. Dr. Wills was an early adopter of integrative medicine, embracing the synergistic effects of eastern and western medicine and has seen the positive impact they can have on people’s lives.
Washington, DC Center
Rebecca Chaudhry is an experienced nurse practitioner with close to 20 years working in the Washington, DC area medical field with a focus on integrative medicine for the past [XX] years. She received her master’s degree in Nursing from The Catholic University of America and her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Syracuse University. Rebecca has helped countless individuals in her professional work, specializing in managing cardiac and diabetic patients across a number of prominent D.C. area medical institutions, including The Heart Center, Georgetown University Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital, and the Center for Plastic Surgery in Chevy Chase. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Eileen Delaney is a family practice nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience. She received her master's degree in Nursing from Old Dominion University. Eileen practiced acute care for many years at Evolve Medical Clinics, Annapolis Internal Medicine, Minute Clinic, and Kaiser Permanente, as well as in family practices. She has also served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corp.
Columbia and North Bethesda Centers
Alison Eissler has been practicing medicine for three years as an adult/gerontology nurse practitioner. She received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and MSN from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She is a former level III clinical nurse with experience in neurology/neurosurgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her masters clinical rotation at the University of Maryland Medical Center Emergency Department and Surgical Prep Center, and the Primary Care Clinic at Chase Brexton Health Services. Alison is focused on preventative medicine through nutrition and fitness education, as well as integrative medicine. Outside of work, Alison is a Cross Fit Level 1 coach and enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her fiancée and American Bulldog.
Kara is an accomplished nursing professional with over sixteen years of integrative health experience. She obtained her Nurse Practitioner degree at Georgetown University and earned her M.Ed. in Exercise Science, and B.S.N. from Cleveland State University. She has completed additional coursework in exercise science at the doctoral level at The Ohio State University. She has an equally accomplished background in teaching, instructing students in wellness, exercise physiology, and human performance in endurance athletes. She is also a veteran marathon coach and has completed over forty marathons, seven in Boston. Kara shares a true passion for wellness and is able to combine that passion with her professional expertise at Nava as Nurse Practitioner. Kara is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
